The Paarl Boys’ High is the exclusive beneficiary of the society lottery that is administered by the National Education Activation Trust (NEAT). The proceeds of the funds will be applied towards the advancement of academic excellence at Paarl Boys’ High.

Tickets | Tickets will be sold exclusively through the Paarl Boys’ High Old Boys Union AlumNet platform and activated via WhatsApp and E-Mail. Tickets can be purchased at R500 each from 1 June 2023 until 12 December 2023. |
Draw Date | Ticket Sales will stop at midnight 12 December 2023, 12 Finalists will be drawn on the 13th of December 2023 and the final draw on the 14th of December 2023. |
Draw Procedure | The final draw will be done with the twelve finalists where the first 10 drawn will receive the 3rd prize of R5000 each, 11th will receive the second prize of R50 000, and the 12th will be the 1st prize of R100 000. |

Rules of the competition:
1. This Competition is open to anyone 18 years and over, except for paid staff members or direct contractors of the NEAT, SilverSky (Pty) Ltd and staff members of NEAT’s Auditors
2. The competition will run from 1 June 2023 to 12 December 2023 with the fist draw on 13 December 2023 and the final draw on 14 December 2023
3. The final Competition Prize Draw will be officiated by a senior representative of the NEAT’s Auditors. The draw will be done in two stages: First we will draw our 12 finalists and they will be announced selected social media and communication platforms. The 12 individuals will also be notified via telephone, e-mail, or WhatsApp. Then 12 individual draws will follow to determine the prizes. Draws 1 to 10 will the determine the winners of the R5000 cash prizes, draw 11 will determine the 2nd place R50 000 cash prize and the 12th and final draw will determine the winner of R100 000 in cash. All winners will be notified via telephone, e-mail, or WhatsApp and the results will be published on selected social media and communication platforms.
4. All prize money will be transferred electronically from NEAT to the winners’ bank account as soon as the account details are available and verified.
5. All prizes are tax-free.
6. A tax certificate may not be issued for competition entries.
7. Prizes will be donated back to NEAT if they are not claimed within 3 months of the winner being notified.
8. Ticket entries are limited to 4000 only.
9. To be eligible for entry in the competition each ticket attracts a minimum donation of R500, or as advertised.
10. All tickets will be sold electronically via a dedicated WhatsApp number as advertised.
11. Unidentified donations and unsold tickets will not be allocated ticket numbers or entered the Draw.
12. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the auditing firm will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result.
